TOUGH-SEAL is our premier technology for potting and electronic encapsulation of electrical components when premium thermal cycling performance is required. It delivers low embedment stress upon cure and during thermal cycle exposures. This inherent resilience is gentler on sensitive circuitry than hard epoxy compounds and provides an exceptional shield to protect the electrical components from the environment. Automotive Under-Hood
Key Polymer products have been developed to meet demanding under-hood applications. All exhibit the environmental durability required in these demanding applications, while viscosity, hardness, and gel times have been adjusted to the specific application.

Thermal Conductivity with Reduced Abrasion
Epoxy potting compounds with high thermal conductivity have typically relied on filler that can abrade components of dispensing equipment. Working closely with a customer on this problem, Key Polymer was able to develop a material with equal thermal conductivity but significantly reduced abrasion.

Colors Provide the Key
A successful Key Polymer product development led to substantial growth for one of our clients when Key Polymer provided the same product in a range of colors without changing the properties that were important to the application. They were able to market visibly differentiated product lines for each of their major customers.

UL 94-V0 Flame Retardancy Approvals
A fire retardant solution is important in many potting applications and end uses. Key Polymer provides UL Yellow Card, 94-V0 epoxy potting compounds developed from our urethane technology for a wide range of applications.
